Little Angelo's, located at 8000 Bell Oaks Dr, Newburgh, IN, offers a delightful escape into traditional Italian cuisine, showcasing an inviting atmosphere and an impressive menu. Diners rave about the generous portions and delicious authenticity, with standout dishes including the Chicken, Shrimp, and Scallops Fettuccine Alfredo that captivates with its rich, creamy sauce and perfectly cooked seafood. Patrons like Dianna Ingalls highlight the delightful calamari and express enthusiasm for quick, pleasant service. The chicken parmigiana receives high praise for its quality, accompanied by a flavorful house-made marinara that stands out amidst a sea of chain restaurants. Cleanliness and a relaxed ambiance enhance every meal, making it a family-friendly spot perfect for both casual lunches and intimate dinners. Our party of 8 was seated immediately for a Sunday evening meal. Everyone has different dishes and we had 2 appetizers. Everything was delicious. The calamari was thick rings with just the right coating. Everyone raced over their food. The service was quick, pleasant and not overbearing. One of our favorite Italian restaurants.

Just had lunch here today! I had the Chicken, Shrimp, and Scallops Fettuccine Alfredo at Little Angelo’s, and I have to say, it was hands down the best I’ve ever had! The creamy Alfredo sauce was perfectly rich and decadent, complementing the tender chicken, succulent shrimp, and perfectly seared scallops. Every bite was a burst of flavor, with the pasta cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous, and the service was excellent; friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Italian food, Little Angelo’s is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

When we arrived, we found plenty of parking. I would say painting better lines would help with efficiency of parking, but it isn't a huge deal. We were seated quicker than I expected for a Saturday evening during dinner rush. The staff were all friendly and felt genuinely so. A critique I have of all restaurants I have been to is this: Beverage lists should be the first thing on the menu. When seated, the first order a waiter/waitress will ask is "What can I get you to drink?" Under the company logo on the menu it should have the beverages first; then the appetizer menu. All that being said, the menu was simple, easy to read, and did not overwhelm us with too many choices. It is nice to have a simple menu with a few, solid, choices that describe the food. There was a typo on the menu, but I don't count that against them. The Cheese sticks app was simple and decent. They were well fried, tasted good, and the marinara sauce was delicious. The tomato sauce was not the usual sauce folks might be used to; it isn't sweet. It has a more onion-like taste than what you would find at a Fazolis or Olive Garden. I cannot confirm how they make it, but I assume it is made in a more traditional Italian method over something "packaged". Salad was a salad. The dressing was a good olive oil and red wine vinegar. The tomatoes could have been chopped a bit smaller, but it was still good. The Garlic Knots were divinely pillowy, fresh out of the oven, and expertly done. Based on the taste, they are a high hydration dough; at least 60% but probably higher. They use a high quality olive oil, garlic, and parsley atop the knots after they are done cooking. It is fresh garlic too, not the stuff from a jar and not something pickled. Bonus points for freshness! I cannot speak for the Misses' meal, but it looked good. She did say it was rich and creamy Alfredo. The shrimp looked fully cooked and not overdone, which is nice! We both appreciated the inclusion of mushrooms! My meal was superb! The chicken parmigiana was thin, breaded, and plentiful! The sauce tasted made in house and I appreciate the wine deglazed flavor. The cheese on top was flavorful, which was great! I have had chicken parmigiana where the cheese had no flavor and added nothing to the dish. It was served on a bed of fettuccine pasta, which was a welcome change, compared to spaghetti pasta. It holds the sauce on it a bit nicer than spaghetti. We almost still had room for dessert, but we didn't want to eat to bursting our buttons. I do believe they had a fine dessert menu, featuring tiramisu, canoli, and spumoni ice cream! I should have liked to have some spumoni, but we were full. One final note about our meal. Typically, when we go to an Olive Garden-like chain restaurant, we feel bloated. The food tastes okay and we eat it, but afterwards we don't feel the best. Here, however, we did not feel that! The food was fresh and didn't have that pre-packaged, preservatives, flavor / after feeling. Atmosphere wise, there is room for improvement. Touching up paint and better candles on the tables would help. That being said, I think the cleanliness of the facility more than makes up for it! There was plenty of seating without feeling crowded. There was music playing, but I couldn't hear it very well. It sounded like it might have been some Sinatra, but I couldn't tell. I do appreciate that the music wasn't so loud as to make conversation difficult. I didn't have to use the restroom before leaving so I don't have anything to report there, but I assume it's to be clean and in good order. In summary, it is a marvelous place to get some great food with family or a date! It is similar to Little Italy in Evansville's North Park. If you have dined there, you will like Little Angelo's as well!

This is a really nice Italian restaurant. There is no "fast food" feel here. Very flavorful! Everything from our mozzarella stick appetizers, salad and garlic bread to our entrees were presented nicely and were prepared perfectly. I had the lasagna and my wife had spaghetti in marinara sauce. We will visit here again.

Lunch on Friday.. Excellent service, we had chicken alfredo and shrimp alfredo. Both dishes were beyond 5 stars. The salad was fresh and crisp, the rolls are so good. The portion sizes are such that we both took home extra for another meal. Highly recommend this restaurant!! Check their hours before you go.. limited lunch time hours.

We have lived in Newburgh since 2018 and just ate there tonight. This was the best Italian food we have had. Both myself and my mother ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. It came with salad and garlic rolls. Everything about our meal was excellent. Little Angelo’s gained two new customers that will be back probably many times. Little Angelo’s to us is better than any of the Italian restaurants nearby.
